FAQ- Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to know how to sail?
Not at all. We can provide a friendly competent and qualified
skipper to facilitate your day. Alternatively if you know
someone who has relevant sailing experience and skills, invite
them along to skipper for you.
I can't swim?:
At times clients will indicate that some members
of the Team say " I can't swim", With out any disrespec,
we say that's OK, " we're going sailing not swimming"
What should I bring?
Clothing & attire
We always suggest bring more than you expect you will need.
Our vessels have plenty of storage space and its better to
have a jumper and swimmers there just in case than regret
not bringing them!
As our vessels all have white decks, please wear white soled
or non-marking soled shoes, (boat shoes and Dunlop volleys
are always a safe bet)
Don't forget your sunnies, hat, sun block and drinking water
for those warm days. We suggest that you leave all valuable
jewelry, watches etc at home as items such as these have been
known to end up at the bottom of the Harbour!
Life Jackets:
All boats have a maximum licensed capacity,
no matter what the capacity there is a life jacket available
for every participant.
Food and Beverage
Feel free to BYO picnic and drink or give us a call and we
can organize it all for you.
Music
Don't forget your CDs or bagpipes if you wish.
